A very warm welcome to our school website.
Since January 2022, I have had the great honour and privilege of leading Lytham CE School.
At Lytham Church of England Primary School, we aim to provide the highest standards of education within a caring and stimulating environment. Our mission statement underpins everything we do,
‘to inspire everyone in our school family to be the best they can be within our caring Christian community’.
We were delighted to have this recognised in May 2017, when we received a judgement of ‘Outstanding’ in all areas following our SIAMs Inspection. This fully reflected our wonderful school, and the report is available on this website for you to read.
We are blessed with a wonderful environment for teaching and learning and we offer wide ranging curriculum enhancement opportunities and experiences. We have high expectations for our children's attainment and their behaviour. Children are always encouraged to share and develop their talents whatever they may be, from excelling on the sporting field to learning to play a range of musical instruments. Our dedicated staff team believe that every child is unique and precious and it is our duty to nurture and encourage the children so that they can develop into the person that they wish to be.
If you are a prospective parent, please feel free to ring and arrange a time for a visit. I would be delighted to show you round so that you can sample the atmosphere and gain an even fuller picture of the rich, varied and creative curriculum we offer.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Thank you to Miss Snape, who came, from the Diocese, to work with KS2 as part of our Easter celebrations. We studied 'A-cross the world' - a creative discovery of the symbolism of Christian crosses around the world. Y6 loved making their Sudanese crosses - a cross of hope and peace and their Asian crosses from the Philippines-a cross of good news. Blackburn Diocese Board of Education
