A very warm welcome to our school website.
Since January 2022, I have had the great honour and privilege of leading Lytham CE School.
At Lytham Church of England Primary School, we aim to provide the highest standards of education within a caring and stimulating environment. Our mission statement underpins everything we do,
‘to inspire everyone in our school family to be the best they can be within our caring Christian community’.
We were delighted to have this recognised in May 2017, when we received a judgement of ‘Outstanding’ in all areas following our SIAMs Inspection. This fully reflected our wonderful school, and the report is available on this website for you to read.
We live our Vision 'Together We Grow With God' through our ethos and through our determination to ensure all children and staff are afforded opportunities to flourish. Children enjoy being here and they are at the centre of everything we do. We are proud of our children and we are committed to providing the best quality education, rooted in Christian care, that we can.
As a Church of England primary school, we have strong links with Blackburn Diocese, the Parish of JC and other faith schools in our community. We are blessed that our Vicar Rev Nick and our Mission Enabler Rev Emma, lead a weekly act of worship in school and support us through not only this, but also through their chaplaincy.
We are fortunate to have a wonderful environment for teaching and learning and we offer wide ranging curriculum enhancement opportunities and experiences. We have high expectations for our children's attainment and their behaviour. Children are always encouraged to share and develop their talents whatever they may be, from excelling on the sporting field to learning to play a range of musical instruments. Our dedicated staff team believe that every child is unique and precious in God's eyes and it is our duty to nurture and encourage the children so that they can develop into the person that they wish to be.
If you are a prospective parent, please feel free to ring and arrange a time for a visit. I would be delighted to show you round so that you can sample the atmosphere and gain an even fuller picture of the rich, varied and creative curriculum we offer.
We look forward to welcoming you.
