Online Safety
Online Safety Policies
At Lytham Church of England Primary School, we work with staff, pupils and parents/carers to create a school community which values the use of new technologies in enhancing learning, encourages responsible use of technologies, and follows agreed policies to minimise potential online safety risks.
Pupils have a right to access these systems in a safe and controlled way and the responsibility to use the systems carefully and within the guidelines set at school and home.
At Lytham CE, we use Project Evolve as our scheme of learning for online safety. We believe that online safety is a vital part of children’s education, and by using Project Evolve, this allows us to deliver a clear, progressive and research‑informed curriculum that supports pupils in developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to navigate the digital world with confidence. Project Evolve provides age‑appropriate guidance, up‑to‑date content and reflective discussion opportunities, enabling our children to make responsible choices online, understand potential risks and foster positive digital citizenship.
