Homework

Homework goes home on a Friday and is collected in and marked the following Thursday. There will be spellings, times tables and a Maths or English task. Additionally, the children have access to various websites including TimesTables Rockstars.

Reading Books

The children are encouraged to read appropriate novels and non-fiction books regularly. They should record this in their school diary and aim to have this signed by a parent at least once a week. Reading records are collected in and check every Friday.

General Reminders

• Our PE days are currently Wednesday and Thursday. Please ensure the children have the appropriate kit for each day. In the Summer term, Year 4 will go swimming on a Wednesday.

• The children will also need their own water bottle in school, which they have access to all day, please make sure that they are clearly labelled.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me, either after school when collecting your child, on Class Dojo, or by arranging a more formal appointment with the school office.
